Phoenix Flames

My heart is faint and weary
The sky is dark and dreary
My eyes again are teary
As my heart fears for thee.

Suddenly, a fire beneath my feet!
My heart's rythmn skips a beat.
A phoenix, my love for you, sears away fatigue with it's heat.
The clouds fly away, feeling the agony of defeat!

Riding the phoenix I fly up high
To a place of peace, where I sigh a peaceful sigh.
You're there amongst the star filled sky
And we hold each other till forever's end is nigh.
